1995 BMW 5 Series

For this model year, the BMW 5 Series sedan is offered in four models: the 525i, 530i, 540i and 540i Sport. The 525i models come with 2.5-liter 6-cylinder engine that puts out 189 horsepower while the 530i gets 3.0-liter V8 that breathes 215 horsepower. The 540i model is more powerful with its 4.0-liter 8-cylinder engine producing 282 horsepower.

 For the transmission, 525i comes with 5-speed manual transmission. A 4-speed automatic overdrive is standard in 525i Touring and optional in 525i. The 5-speed automatic overdrive is offered as an option in 530i and 540i. The 6-speed manual overdrive is standard on 540i models while 530i receives 5-speed manual.

1995 BMW 5 Series is also known for its long list of standard features such as air conditioning, power windows, power door locks and cassette player. All models except 525i Touring receives sunroof. Leather seats are standard 530i, 530i Touring and 540i and optional in 525i and 525i Touring. This year's 5 Series has maximum seating capacity for 5 persons.

To ensure driver and passenger safety, 1995 5 Series comes equipped with driver-passenger airbags and Anti Lock Brake System. For the mileage, 525i and 525i Touring achieves 18-19/25-28 mpg city/highway; 530i and 530i Touring have 16-17/24-26 mpg city/highway and the 540i models get 14-17/23-25 mpg in city/highway.
