BMW 5 Series Review

BMW 5 Series comes as a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sedan, and luxury sports sedan or luxury
sports wagon. These body styles are usually available in six trims ranging 525i
sedan to the 540i sport wagon. The BMW 5 Series 525i sedan comes equipped with
a standard 2.5-liter, I6 engine that produces 184-horsepower and achieves 20-mpg
in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. This engine is mated with a 5-speed automatic
transmission and an overdrive option.
The 5 Series sports wagon in 2004 model year is offered with a standard 4.4-liter
V8 engine generating 290 horsepower and teamed with a standard 5-speed transmission
with overdrive. It has a gas mileage of 17-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway.
5 Series is loaded with 4-wheel anti-lock brakes with 4 channels and 4 sensors
front power 296-mm x 22-mm ventilated disc and rear power 298-mm x 20-mm ventilated
disc brakes. It also comes with safety features that include heated washer system,
side guard door beams and child safety door locks situated on rear doors. 5 Series
also boasts its power engine speed sensing rack and pinion steering with variable-assist.
