BMW 5 Series wagon

Like the sedans, the 2005 BMW 5 Series Sports wagon are offered in two trims: the 525i and 545i. The 525i
is powered by a 2.5-liter inline six-cylinder engine producing 192 horsepower.
This engine accelerates the 5 Series wagon to 60 mph in 8.7 seconds. The 545i
on the other hand is being motorized by BMW's stellar Valvetronic 4.4-liter V8
that breathes 333 horsepower. These horsepower gives the term "sport" to sport
wagon. It brings the 545i to 60 mph in less than six seconds.
Both models come with standard six-speed manual transmission and the rear suspension
is a special independent integral arm design that provides a room for entirely
flat load floor and maximum through-loading width in the middle of the wheelwells.
5 Series Sports wagon is also offered with a standard self-leveling suspension
to help it carry heavier loads.
Access to the Sports wagon tailgate is easy due to the remote keyless entry fob
that will automatically power up to facilitate easy loading. You'll also appreciate
the soft-close feature and the rear glass that can open independently if needed.
Sport wagon's interior features a generous stowage compartment including a cargo
floor, tie-down hooks, power outlet, grocery bag holders, and dividing panels
that keep items in place. Roof rails with attachment points are also available
to allow extra cargo carriers and racks. Included in Sport wagon's standard equipments
are Dynamic Traction Control, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Brake Control
and Dynamic Drive Control with Active Roll Stabilization. The 525i is offered
with 16-inch wheels and tires while the 545i carries 17-inch rims and rubber.
Also standard are two-stage adaptive brake lights and airbag safety system.
